Meet Jasmin
- Salsa, perfume and cocktail making
- Petite at 160 cm
- Brown eyes, chestnut hair long and straight
- Early twenties, quick fluent English
- Soho, W1
A trace of neroli and something smokier reaches the table a moment before Jasmin does. She stands 160 cm, petite and quick, her chestnut hair long, straight and swinging when she laughs, her brown eyes plainly enjoying what they see. Her style is boutique hotel chic with a wink: a short black dress, gold at the throat, heels she can dance in if the night insists. Small in stature and large in presence, she tends to become the brightest thing in any room without appearing to try.
Bubbly is the easy word for her, but curious is the truer one. Jasmin wants to know where you grew up, what you drank on your first night in London and whether you can tell bergamot from lemon with your eyes closed. She flirts in the old-fashioned, charming way, all teasing questions and delighted laughter, and her English is fluent and quick. Perfume is her private obsession, mixology her party piece and salsa her secret weapon: give her a sprung floor and a trumpet section and she will have you dancing within a song.
Soho is where she lives, and after dark she moves through it like a regular on the night bus home, knowing every shortcut. A typical night with her starts with a drink at Swift on Old Compton Street, where she quizzes the bartender about bitters and then orders something nobody else would have thought of. Supper might be counter seats somewhere lively on Frith Street, then a wander through Soho Square while the city hums around you, and finally a nightcap back at your hotel above the rooftops.
Jasmin is based in Soho, a few minutes from anywhere in the West End. Her fares are on the rates page, and a late message to booking is always welcome.
Fares for Jasmin
Jasmin comes alive once the theatres empty, so late starts in Soho and the West End suit her perfectly. Name your hotel in the first message and the desk can confirm her quickly.

An evening with Jasmin
Jasmin plans a night like a cocktail: a strong base, something bright, a twist at the end. The base is a hotel bar with good ice, where she tries to guess your favourite drink before you order it and is right more often than seems fair. The bright part is Soho itself, crowded pavements, neon on wet tarmac, the smell of garlic and caramel drifting out of kitchens on Greek Street. She walks close, points out the doorways worth knowing, and stops at a perfume shop window to explain why one bottle is a small masterpiece.
The twist arrives after midnight, when a trumpet somewhere pulls her into two minutes of salsa right there on the pavement, before she leads you, laughing, back towards the hotel lift.
Asked and answered
Tell me three flavours you like and let me talk to the bartender. If you hate it, the next round is my apology.
It changes with the weather. Probably neroli with a little smoke, because Soho in September deserves something warm.
Enough to enjoy one song without stepping on my shoes. After that it is all confidence, and I will lend you mine.
Passenger notes
No notes about Jasmin so far
This space fills slowly and honestly. A note only appears once an evening has really taken place, signed with a first name and dated by month, and the desk reads every one before it is published. Jasmin keeps the right to have any note taken down.
